Football Preview: West Linn Lions vs. Sherwood Bowmen
West Linn is 7-2 against Sherwood since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The West Linn Lions will look to defend their home field against the Sherwood Bowmen at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
West Linn is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Eagle. West Linn blew past Eagle 51-14 on the road on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Sherwood gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past Roosevelt, posting a 42-7 win at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.
Sherwood had a senior duo take command as Wilson Medina gained 87 total yards and three touchdowns and Andrew Waletich gained 137 total yards and a touchdown. Waletich got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 82 yards.
