Basketball Recap: Chisholm Takes a Loss

Chisholm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers 77-40. While losing is never fun, the Bluestreaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while the Rangers are ranked 176th).

Chisholm's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Mountain Iron-Buhl, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Chisholm has already played their next game (against Moose Lake/Willow River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mountain Iron-Buhl, they will challenge Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
