Basketball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Cherokee lost against Waterloo last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Cherokee Indians and the Waterloo Cougars didn't end well, with the Cherokee Indians falling 49-33. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Waterloo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

While Cherokee had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
