Emma Brandt was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
In other batting news, Bloom-Carroll got a massive performance out of Madi Grefe, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Ady Luke was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs.
