A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bath Wildcats face off against the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday... Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Bath is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against St. John's on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Bath might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting St. John's an easy 74-51 win. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Cardinal Stritch was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They received a blow as they fell 43-29 to Rogers. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Cardinal Stritch and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Bath, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Things could have been worse for Bath, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-46 loss to Cardinal Stritch when the teams last played back in December of 2023.
