Burton waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Snook Bluejays a 15-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-2 last Tuesday.

Burton pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Snook, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Burton will square off against rival Mumford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Burton 3.2, Mumford 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Snook is set to face off against their familiar foe Somerville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
