The contest was Nieves' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Shalena Mesiona was another key player, going 5 of 7 on her way to 10 points.

Legacy pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points per game. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
