Softball Recap: Twin Lakes Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Twin Lakes can now relate to. They fell just short of the Western Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Monday. Considering the last time the Indians couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Twin Lakes moved to 12-18 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Western, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Twin Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Western, they will challenge West Lafayette at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
