Baseball Recap: Gaston Christian Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Gaston Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the John Paul II Catholic Saints with a sharp 11-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won ten games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Xander Sutton was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. Carter Rowe also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
