Softball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West entered their game against North on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saxons. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saxons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

West's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 14-6-1. As for North, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against El Segundo on the 22nd. As for North, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-1 victory against Peninsula on the 20th.
