Volleyball Game Preview: Mount Tabor Spartans vs. Glenn Bobcats

The Mount Tabor Spartans will venture away from home to face off against the Glenn Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Mount Tabor managed to slip by Page the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Mount Tabor lost 3-0 to Page on Wednesday. The Spartans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Mount Tabor got top-tier performance from Kerry Donahue, who had 22 digs, 12 kills, and two aces. Donahue is crushing it when it comes to kills: he's had at least five every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Leone Pipponzi, who had 18 digs and one block.

Meanwhile, Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against West Forsyth, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-17.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mount Tabor, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
