Football Recap: Archbishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Archbishop Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Conwell-Egan Catholic Eagles, falling 41-6. The Patriots were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Archbishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Carroll is taking a road trip to take on Hanover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, they will welcome Lansdale Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 12.1 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
