Basketball Game Preview: Tatum Eagles vs. Gladewater Bears

The Tatum Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Gladewater Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tatum has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 211 points over their last three games.

Tatum took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They secured a 67-61 W over Arp.

Meanwhile, Gladewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Rusk.

Tatum has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points over those games. As for Gladewater, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Tatum came up short against Gladewater when the teams last played back in January, falling 87-78. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
