Basketball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood and Ascension Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Northwood had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 48-44 to the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Gators' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Ascension Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Northwood nor Ascension Catholic have any future games scheduled.
