Softball Recap: Porter Ridge Comes Up Short

Porter Ridge blew Sun Valley out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Sun Valley got their revenge. The Pirates fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pirates have suffered since April 24, 2024.

Porter Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Sun Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Porter Ridge will take on Lee Park Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
