Soccer Recap: East Limestone Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, East Limestone was not quite Elkmont's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Elkmont Red Devils. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

East Limestone dropped their record down to 4-6-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Elkmont, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Limestone will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brooks at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Elkmont, they will challenge Ardmore at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
