Baseball Game Preview: Upper Perkiomen Indians vs. Owen J. Roberts Wildcats

The Upper Perkiomen Indians will head out on the road to take on the Owen J. Roberts Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Upper Perkiomen earned a 6-3 victory over Phoenixville.

Zane Saeger was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs. Upper Perkiomen is undefeated when Saeger posts two or more runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Owen J. Roberts, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Norristown on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Upper Perkiomen's record now sits at 7-5. As for Owen J. Roberts, their record is now 3-7.

Upper Perkiomen couldn't quite get it done against Owen J. Roberts when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-0. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
