Basketball Recap: Mission Oak Takes a Loss

Mission Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Fresno Christian Eagles, falling 97-41. The matchup marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mission Oak's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Fresno Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mission Oak will square off against Tulare Western at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Tulare Western knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Mission Oak likes a good challenge. As for Fresno Christian, they will head out to square off against Sierra at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Fresno Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
