Melstone put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Broadview/Lavina Pirates to the tune of 55-17. Given the Broncs' advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Pirates are ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Melstone pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for Broadview/Lavina, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Melstone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Broadview/Lavina, they will square off against Custer/Hysham at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
