Volleyball Recap: Lincoln College Prep Beats Barstow for Their 13th Straight Win

Lincoln College Prep entered their tilt with Barstow on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Knights. For the Blue Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (97-90) Lincoln College Prep actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-21, 9-25, 16-25, 25-17, 15-9.

Nevaeh Coleman paced Lincoln College Prep's offense, picking up ten kills. Coleman got some help from Atianna Crosdale and her 24 assists. Coleman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Lincoln College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Barstow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln College Prep will host Pembroke Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Raiders have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Barstow, they will welcome Adrian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
