Soccer Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside managed to keep up with Lakewood until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Beavers came up short against the Rangers, falling 5-1. Riverside were not able to make up for their defeat to Lakewood from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Riverside's goal came courtesy of Johann Ledesma, who's now up to two this season.

Riverside is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8-1. As for Lakewood, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Kenston on the 16th. As for Lakewood, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-1 defeat against Walsh Jesuit on the 15th.
