Soccer Recap: North Pole Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Pole can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Soldotna Stars on Thursday. North Pole were not able to make up for their loss to Soldotna from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

North Pole's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-3. As for Soldotna, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4-1.

North Pole didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Monroe Catholic on the 30th. As for Soldotna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Kenai Central on the 30th.
