Football Game Preview: Hudsonville Eagles vs. East Kentwood Falcons + How To Watch

The Hudsonville Eagles will face off against the East Kentwood Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hudsonville is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Hudsonville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: Rockford, who was ranked eighth at the time (Hudsonville was ranked fifth). The Eagles walked away with a 35-28 win over the Rams on Friday.

Hudsonville had a senior duo take command as Brady L Van Laecke rushed for 67 yards and two scores and Lawsyn Weber picked up 148 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Hudsonville's run defense was locked in: Rockford could only muster -0.9 yards per carry. The Eagles' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.7.

Meanwhile, East Kentwood really took it to West Ottawa for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-8 victory. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 29 points or more this season.

East Kentwood's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hudsonville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Hudsonville skirted past East Kentwood 25-23 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
