12 must be Geneva's lucky number: they beat Honeoye with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 12-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Geneva and bumps their season record up to 7-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Honeoye, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Geneva will be playing at home against Clyde-Savannah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 10.9 runs per game this season.
