Cypress Bay came tearing into Monday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Fort Lauderdale Flying L 20-0. Considering the Lightning have won five contests by more than 19 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Cypress Bay pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games.
