Forest Hills's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Monroe Redhawks 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Yellow Jackets as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 25-15.

Tahliya Brown paced Forest Hills' offense, picking up 12 kills. Brown got some help from Ava Baucom and her 19 assists. Baucom also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Marianna Shine, each putting up two.

Despite the loss, Monroe still got an impressive performance from Jocelyn Izoteco-Lopez, who had ten digs and three assists. Izoteco-Lopez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Forest Hills picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-13. As for Monroe, they dropped their record down to 1-21 with the loss, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Forest Hills has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Albemarle on the 9th. As for Monroe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Anson on the 13th.
