City of Life Christian Academy came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Warner Christian Academy Eagles with a sharp 21-6 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jenna Johnson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Natalia Duran was a standout: she scored four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Janyali Tirado, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

City of Life Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .842. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
