Baseball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville managed to slip by East Lawrence the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hawks lost 16-10 to the Eagles on Thursday. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Danville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for East Lawrence, with the win, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-20.

Looking ahead, Danville will head out to challenge West Point at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Lawrence, they will be playing at home against Good Hope at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
