Softball Recap: Atmore Christian Wins Going Away Against East Hill Christian

Atmore Christian won the last time they faced East Hill Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Atmore Christian got a massive performance out of Tamra Stoltzfus, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Lizzy Landis also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Stoltzfus wasn't the only one making solid contact: Atmore Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Atmore Christian picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-14. As for East Hill Christian, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atmore Christian will challenge Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Hill Christian, they will take on Aletheia Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
