Soccer Recap: Franklin County Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Franklin County was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell just short of the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles by a score of 2-1. Franklin County were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Shelbyville Central apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Shelbyville Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season.
