Baseball Recap: Windsor Takes a Loss

Windsor fell victim to DeSoto and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. The defeat continues a trend for the Owls in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost five in a row.

Windsor saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Palmer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Palmer has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for DeSoto, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-14.

While Windsor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
