Soccer Game Preview: Franklin vs. Maywood CES

The Franklin Panthers will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Maywood CES Wolfpack at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Franklin fell victim to Dr. Maya Angelou Community and their airtight defense last Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Phoenix. That's two games in a row now that Franklin have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Maywood CES also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 4-0 to Bell on Tuesday. Maywood CES have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Maywood CES, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Franklin came out on top in a nail-biter against Maywood CES in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolfpack turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
