Volleyball Recap: Sunset Takes a Loss

Sunset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Clackamas Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Apollos of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Clackamas, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Sunset didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Liberty on the 13th. As for Clackamas, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Grant on the 13th.
