Volleyball Recap: Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs vs. Wray Eagles        
        
		
             Haxtun won the last time they faced Wray, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over the Wray Eagles. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Fightin' Bulldogs.
 Haxtun was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 20-25, 23-25, 25-21,  15-9.
 Leading Haxtun to victory were  Lilly Lemesany and  Emily Anderson.  Lemesany  had 13  digs and three  aces, while  Anderson  had 11  digs and two  aces. Lemesany is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in the last ten games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Haxtun  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 19  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
 Haxtun pushed their record up to 8-3 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Wray,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-6.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haxtun will challenge Cheyenne Wells at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Wray, they will venture away from home to  square off against Sedgwick County  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
