Volleyball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Des Moines East Scarlets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scarlets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on September 11th.

Charity Parnell paced Perry's offense, picking up three kills. Parnell got some help from Kalley Whelchel and her three assists.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Des Moines East, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Perry will head out on the road to square off against Nevada at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Des Moines East, they will challenge Fort Dodge at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
