Baseball Recap: Linden-McKinley Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Linden-McKinley's offense. They came up short against the Whetstone Braves on Thursday, falling 15-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Braves from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Linden-McKinley is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Whetstone, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linden-McKinley will welcome Mifflin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Whetstone, they will face off against Bishop Ready at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Silver Knights will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
