Basketball Recap: Licking Valley's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Licking Valley can bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They escaped with a win against the Columbus Academy Vikings by the margin of a single free throw, 34-33. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Columbus Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lianna Lopez, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Kendall Owens, who earned eight points.
