Football Game Preview: Carter-Riverside vs. Poly

Poly will challenge Carter-Riverside on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Poly come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Poly took a serious blow against Northwest last Thursday, falling 0-49. Poly were down by 0-49 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Carter-Riverside have been struggling to pick up a win, with their contest against Wyatt making it eight winless games in a row. Carter-Riverside were completely outmatched, falling 0-58 to Wyatt. Carter-Riverside were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-41.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
