Soccer Recap: Colleton County Takes a Loss

Colleton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Battery Creek Dolphins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Colleton County of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2019.

Their goal came courtesy of Stephan LaPresta, which was the first he's scored this season.

Colleton County's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Battery Creek, they now have a winning record of 9-8-2.

Colleton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Battery Creek, they will square off against Georgetown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
