Basketball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 38th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Poplarville Hornets, falling 54-24.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Poplarville, the victory snapped their losing streak at 43 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-16 record.

Salem will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East Marion at 7:30 p.m. As for Poplarville, they will head out to challenge Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
