Preview: Central Falcons vs. Largo Lions
The Central Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Largo Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Central was beaten by Douglass 85-49. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Central in their matchups with Douglass: they've now lost nine in a row.
Meanwhile, Largo had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South 88-51 on the road. With Largo ahead 49-28 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Central bumped their record down to 1-2 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Largo, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Central was dealt a bruising 97-60 defeat at the hands of Largo in their previous meeting back in January. Can Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
