Volleyball Game Preview: Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie vs. Mater Academy Charter Lions

After both having extra time off, the Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie and the Mater Academy Charter Lions will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Hialeah Educational Academy came up short against Somerset Academy and fell 3-1. While the Biggie didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-18 in the first set.

Hialeah Educational Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-21, 27-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Mater Academy Charter's good fortune finally ran out last Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Immaculata-La Salle.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.

Hialeah Educational Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Mater Academy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Hialeah Educational Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Mater Academy Charter when the teams last played on March 5th. Can Hialeah Educational Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
