Huntley came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Jacobs Golden Eagles with a sharp 25-0 victory. The Red Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Huntley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lyla Ginczycki out in front who threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns. Ginczycki has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last nine times she's played. Another receiver making a difference was Evelyn Freundt, who picked up 145 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Huntley's record now sits at 14-4. As for Jacobs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Huntley will be playing at home against Prairie Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Raiders will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Jacobs, they are taking a road trip to take on Crystal Lake Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 9.8 points per game this season, so the Golden Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
