Basketball Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Kylah Ray and Taylor Scott

If Pinnacle Classical Academy was feeling good fresh off their 72-31 takedown of Mountain View Christian Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles lost 51-30 to The Master's Academy Lions on Friday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Taylor Scott and Kylah Ray certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Scott posted ten points in addition to six rebounds and five steals, while Ray scored nine points.

Pinnacle Classical Academy's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-6. As for The Master's Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Pinnacle Classical Academy has already played their next matchup, a 55-40 win against Temple Baptist on the 28th. As for The Master's Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-36 victory against Haywood Christian Academy on the 28th.
