Basketball Recap: Holliston Comes Up Short

Holliston suffered their biggest defeat since December 30, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Medfield Warriors, falling 61-41. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Warriors are ranked 92nd).

Holliston's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Medfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holliston has already played their next contest (against Dedham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Medfield will host Medway at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Medfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
