Woodville-Tompkins lost against Swainsboro back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines lost 4-1 to the Swainsboro Tigers. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Woodville-Tompkins' defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Swainsboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.
