Basketball Recap: Mile High Academy Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Mile High Academy extended their home winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Addy Dodds. The Mile High Academy Mustangs walked away with a 43-31 victory over the St. John Paul the Great Mountaineers on Monday thanks in part to Dodds, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Mile High Academy's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Donovan, who posted two points and four steals. Those four steals gave her a new career-high.

Mile High Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for St. John Paul the Great, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mile High Academy will square off against Denver Jewish Day at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. John Paul the Great, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Rocky Mountain Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
