North Branch hasn't had much luck against Cambridge-Isanti recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The North Branch Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with 11 losses in a row, North Branch turned things around against Chisago Lakes Area on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats, sneaking past 61-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since January 23, 2024.

Meanwhile, Cambridge-Isanti was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 78-74 to St. Francis. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (66), the Bluejackets still had to take the loss.

Cambridge-Isanti has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for North Branch, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15.
