Baseball Recap: Henry County Patriots vs. Northwest Vikings
Henry County won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 7-1 victory.

Jack Todd tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.
At the plate, Jeremiah Townsend was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Logan Davidson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Henry County pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.5 runs across that stretch. As for Northwest, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-13.
Coming up, Henry County will challenge Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northwest, they will square off against Gallatin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
