It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Saratoga Springs had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers. The victory was nothing new for the Blue Streaks as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Raul Rodriguez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Weiss, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Saratoga Springs pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

As of now, neither Saratoga Springs nor the Brothers have any future games scheduled.
